UCSD Divisions of Physical and Biological Sciences OutreachSharing the excitement of scientific discovery with K-12 students, teachers and the greater community is an important goal of the Divisions of Physical and Biological Sciences. The Grey Matters, Science Matters, Atoms to X-rays and Molecules for the Media series and our other programs draw upon the expertise of UCSD biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics faculty to provide insight into the scientific issues that affect us every day, to show the applications of basic scientific and mathematical principles and to explore the process of scientific discovery.
